Made in the Thiers region of France, these handsome Laguiole knives have been manufactured since the time of Napoleon and there are only a select few knife makers authorized to make them. Fontenille Pautaud is one of the best in the Thiers region. Blade is 12C27 hardened Swedish stainless steel. The handle is made of fragrant juniper wood.
