2-part kit allows you to relocate the origin of your wireless network, using your existing AC wiring. Useful in cases where your wireless access does not reach all areas of a home or office, or to minimize the networking equipment and/or cabling at the center of a wireless network. Supports 802. 11g networks, with wireless speeds of up to 54Mbps. Kit includes the XE102 Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge and the WGX102 Wall-Plugged Wireless Range Extender. Plug the Bridge into your wired or wireless router, then plug the Range Extender into an AC power outlet near where you want wireless access to originate. Security includes up to 128-bit WEP encryption. Compatible with Windows, UNIX, Linux and Novell Netware systems. Backed by the manufacturers 1-year limited warranty.
