Broadly rounded, densely mounded, deciduous shrub with excellent clean branch structure and a very uniform pristine outline in summer and winter. Slow growing, extremely floriferous plant best used in shrub border with an evergreen background. Violety-pink, softly fragrant panicles are produced before leaves fully emerge in spring and literally cover the entire plant for a spectacular color display. Plant in full or part sun in moist, well drained soils. Extremely mildew resistant, requires little or no maintenance.
