They are more effective and look much better than duct tape or wood panels. Installation is simple and requires a tape measure and scissors: 1. Remove the old panels 2. Measure the inside height of the panel frame 3. Cut replacement panel to measured height 4. Slide mounting tracks (included in package) onto replacement panel 5. Remove protective tape from mounting tracks and press one side onto air conditioner, the other onto frame The result looks new, keeps bugs and hot air out and cool air in.
